Over the course of 30+ years, this company grew from a small, 1 farm operation to an international 12 farm operation leader. How they managed up to 10 was becoming impossible.
Challenge
This client grew to 12 international farms all within 4 years! In the beginning, each farm had its own selling process, inventory management, and distribution and shipping schedules. On top of this, no central management technology to coordinate metrics and financials, let alone marketing and circulation.
Solution
The client needed a shared portal site where they could monitor and control all aspects of each individual farming partners business. They already had an email system that they used to manage stock levels and sales. But this was grossly outdated and mostly, inaccurate. UniMinds took the time with each US and Canadian partner and built a portal so the client could have control of all process and sales.
UniMinds constructed a new content marketing and campaign portal with a centralized e-commerce platform that unified all farmers products together in one common space. UniMinds also constructed the Mini Publication portal allowing each farmer partner to create their own “Local” stories to capture the “Local” reader interest. UniMinds also utilized their publications and partners publications to target their content to both local and international readership.
